Bromley Propel Mentoring Network

What is it?

Together with the Bromley Children & Families Voluntary Sector Forum, we want young people to feel empowered to take ownership of their lives and their futures. In order to do so, they need to not only see their potential; they need to truly believe in it too.

Mentoring is a mechanism which supports them to do this. Building a trusted and positive relationship over time can help motivate and equip a young person to change their lives; supporting the development of skills, coping strategies and confidence. The skill and drive required to build transformational trusted relationships is a fundamental principle of high-quality youth and community work.

With regards to our involvement, the new mentoring scheme focuses on training young women to become football coaches or referees. This is carried out via one to one mentoring support and allowing access to gain a coaching certificate. This scheme is perfect for girls / women between 14-24 years old looking to enter the world of Sport/Football.

How much does it cost / How do I book?

If you are female aged between 14-24 years and are interested in becoming a Football Coach or Referee, register your interest by emailing BPMN@bcfforum.org. Alternatively, click the book now button.
