Bromley FC Community Trust brought together players, coaches, volunteers, families, sponsors and supporters from across its Women & Girls pathway to celebrate another fantastic season at Hayes Lane.
Hosted by the Trust, the event welcomed participants from across the club’s girls’ youth teams, Junior Premier League (JPL) squads, Women’s First Team, Belles, Walking Football and Community Trust programmes, celebrating the strength of a pathway that provides opportunities for women and girls of all ages and abilities to play, develop and enjoy football.
Throughout the afternoon, guests enjoyed a variety of activities including inflatable football games, small-sided matches, live music, player presentations and community awards, creating a fun, inclusive and family-friendly atmosphere for everyone in attendance.
A special performance from the Sing Like You Mean It Choir added to the celebrations, while families, friends and supporters came together to recognise the dedication, achievements and milestones reached across every stage of the pathway throughout the season.
The event celebrated the commitment of players, coaches, volunteers and staff whose passion and hard work continue to inspire more women and girls to get involved in football, while highlighting the opportunities available from grassroots participation through to the senior game.
Thanks to the continued support of London Biggin Hill Airport, Lead Women & Girls Partner, the celebration reflected the shared ambition to grow the women’s and girls’ game across the borough and create even more opportunities for future generations.
Bromley FC Community Trust would like to thank everyone who attended and helped make the day such a memorable occasion, including volunteers, sponsors, partners, performers and the many families who continue to support the growth of the Women & Girls pathway.
As preparations begin for the new season, the event served as a celebration not only of another successful year, but of a thriving community that continues to unite girls and women through football, creating opportunities, lifelong friendships and unforgettable experiences both on and off the pitch.
