We are proud to launch Football for Absolute Beginners (FAB) – our much-loved six-week introduction to football for women who have never played before.

Thanks to funding from The National Lottery Community Fund, all sessions will now be completely free for participants from January 2026.

This friendly and welcoming programme takes place at our brand-new Women & Girls Football Hub at Chislehurst School, offering women of all ages a safe space to build confidence, try something new and enjoy being active together. No experience and no fitness level are required – everyone is welcome.

Across the six weeks, women will learn the basics of football, including dribbling, passing and shooting, take part in small-sided games, and enjoy plenty of laughs along the way. Sessions are led by qualified female coaches.

Head of Women & Girls at Bromley FC Community Trust said, “Far too many women feel football isn’t for them, whether due to low confidence, lack of experience or fear of judgement.”
