Bromley FC Community Trust is proud to share the news of a generous local nomination that has secured vital support for grassroots sport in the borough.

Earlier this year, the Trust was nominated for the Allianz Sports Fund by Ethan Jefferies and Ben Henderson from Brownhill Insurance Group, leading to a successful £2,000 grant. This funding is now being used to expand access to inclusive sport, improve wellbeing through physical activity, and deliver community programmes across Bromley.

“Every penny makes a difference when it comes to changing lives in our community,” said Jeff Hutton, Chief Executive of Bromley FC Community Trust. “We’re incredibly grateful to Ethan, Ben, and everyone at Brownhill Insurance Group for their support. Their nomination means more people can access safe, inclusive opportunities and that is exactly what our work is all about.”

The nomination came as part of Allianz UK’s ongoing commitment to grassroots sport. The Allianz Sports Fund, alongside its Future Fund, has now surpassed £500,000 in donations to local clubs and initiatives across the country.

From walking football and curriculum time school coaching to youth mentoring and volunteering opportunities, the Trust relies on partnerships like this to create innovative opportunities, connect communities, and enrich lives across Bromley.
