Coming up… International Womens Day 2024

Friday 8th March marks International Women’s Day where we celebrate the achievements of women. This year’s theme is #InspireInclusion

As part of the club’s ongoing work to increase female participation in football, the Community Trust, partnering with Her Game Too will be celebrating the role women and girls play at Bromley Football Club.

We start proceedings on Friday when our female coaches will lead our Let Girls Play session at a local Primary school. We will also be celebrating the work made possible with the support of our Lead Partner Biggin Hill Airport.

Then, on Saturday our Bromley’s Men’s game, against Barnet, will be our dedicated International Women’s Day fixture. Before the game we will be launching our all new Female Supporters Group. The group will provide an opportunity for females to meet like-minded supporters before both men’s and women’s games, provide support and information as well as organise social events.

We launch our first pre-match meet up at 2pm in Broomfields on Saturday 9th March.

On the pitch, both men’s and women’s players will warm up in Her Game Too t-shirts, showing their support that football is for all, while our pre-match playlist will be songs showcasing female artists.
