The Bromley FC Community Sports Trust is delighted to be providing support for Veterans in the Borough, by way of a monthly drop-in session. The sessions focus on networking, reducing loneliness and isolation amongst veterans, and providing support.
Session dates are shown on the flyer below, and Veterans from all areas are welcome to attend, free of charge. Refreshments, including hot food and beverages are also available.

The group launched on 30th June, in the presence of The Mayor of Bromley, Councillor Mike Botting, as well as Veterans and members of associated organisations from across London, including the iconic Chelsea Pensioners!
Graham Orr, a Veteran himself, co-founded the group with the support of the Bromley FC Community Sports Trust. He commented; “I’d like to thank Robin Stanton-Gleaves (Bromley FC Chairman), Matt Hall and everyone at Bromley FC Community Sports Trust and indeed the Football Club for their support. The launch of this project is the first step in us making a positive difference to Veterans and the wider Armed Forces Community in Bromley. I’m looking forward to working with the Club, the Mayor of Bromley and all of our project partners in opening up the pathways for support and raising awareness in our Veterans Community”.
Matt Hall, Head of Community at the Bromley FC Community Sports Trust added; “Working with Graham on the planning and launch of this project has been a real pleasure. We are very grateful to the Mayor of Bromley for his kind support and belief in what we’re trying to do. Veterans are an integral part of our Community and they have all given so much during their lives. As a Football Club and Community Trust, it is important we lead the way in supporting these people in our Borough, which is exactly what our project is aimed at doing.”
