Bromley Football Club Celebrates International Women’s Day

International Women’s Day is on Tuesday 8th March and throughout the week we will have a number of events to mark the day. Across the five days we will be celebrating the women of Bromley FC and its Trust. From Academy Scholar to Welfare Officer, we will be showcasing their roles within the club.

On Wednesday, as part of the #LetsGirlsPlay initiative, in partnership with England Football, Bromley School Games and Barclays Football, Bromley Football Club Community Sports Trust will be running a Girls Football in School event at St Mark’s CE Primary School and St James RC Primary School.

On Friday we will be celebrating International Women’s Day by dedicating the 100th Ravens Weekly Podcast to Women in Football. We will be talking to Charlotte Richardson and Andrea Ellis about how the club celebrated International Women’s Day, and speaking to some of the women who are key to Bromley FC.

Finally, on Saturday, watch out for news on our International Women’s Day celebrations in Raven’s Review at our home game against Solihull Moors.

Head to our Facebook, Twitter or Instagram to read some of our team members’ stories throughout the week.
