On Saturday, 15 girls from our Wildcats sessions, aged between 5 and 11 attended Kent FA’s inaugural Wildcats Festival. Held in Canterbury, we were proud to take three teams to the event representing each age group from Under 7 to Under 11. The festival was introduced to give girls who do not play league football an opportunity to meet and play matches with other like-minded girls.
Proudly wearing their Bromley FC shirts, the afternoon started with a carousel of activities focussing on fun, friendship and teamwork, including games such as ‘Cops and Robbers’. This was then followed by a series of friendly matches with other Wildcat clubs from across Kent, which gave everyone an opportunity to showcase their skills.
All of the girls showed great respect to everyone involved and represented Bromley FC Community Trust brilliantly.
