Bullers Wood bucket collection successful

Bromley Football Club and Bullers Wood for Boys School would like to extend their sincere thanks to supporters who contributed to the School’s bucket collection at Hayes Lane on Saturday.

The School, who are in their first year of existence and are currently based on Westmoreland Road and are fundraising for new 11 a-side goals for their new site at St Hugh’s, where they are aiming to move later this year.

Head of PE Stuart Collins said; “The staff at Bullers Wood School for Boys would like to thank firstly Bromley Football Club for allowing us to carry out a bucket collection at the ground and secondly to thank the generosity of the crowd at Saturdays game. This allowed us to make a total of £239.58, which will go towards the football goals fund. In addition, it allowed us at the School to get some publicity and put our name out there to people who might not know we even exist.

The students and families had a great time on Saturday.  Thanks to all the staff at Bromley FC and the players for making us feel so welcome.”
