Bromley Football Club were delighted to host the local stages of the National League U11s Cup, in association with the Bromley School Games.
22 School teams entered across a mixed and girls only tournament, with the winners eventually being Highfield Junior Schools (boys) and Scotts Park (Girls). All children received free match tickets for upcoming home games at Hayes Lane, with the winners also receiving a medal each.
Manager Neil Smith was also present to watch the drama unfold and commented; “It was brilliant to see so many local schools come along to Bromley Football Club for this tournament. The standard from the boys and girls was excellent and hopefully some of these youngsters will play for this Club in the future or even become supporters! It was great to see some familiar faces from the terraces, our youth teams and Soccer Schools as well.”
The two winning sides will now progress to the South East Finals, which will be held in February.
