Club support St Mark’s School on Sport Relief Day
- Community

Bromley Football Club were delighted to support St Mark’s School during Sports Relief week.
The Club donated a signed shirt to the school, which was given as a prize to the winner of a school-wide competition to design a new playground!
Pupils were invited to the Stadium on Friday morning to have a tour of the site and watch first team training. Pupils were shown around behind the scenes along with headteacher Mr Hollands and Head of PE Mr Hall. They then took a seat in the Glyn Beverly Stand and watched the team train with an excellent view from the top of the stand.
The day didn’t end there, as manager Neil Smith popped along to the school with Community Manager Matt Hall to deliver an afternoon assembly. Neil fielded questions from pupils, before presenting certificates and awards.
Headteacher Chris Hollands commented; “We’ve had a long link with Bromley Football Club and I can only say fantastic things about the Club. To now see children be able to come to the Club on a Saturday morning and train on the stadium pitch and the way Neil and the players come out to schools and engage with the local community is fantastic. These are the fans of the present and the future as well.”
The Club look forward to seeing everyone at St Mark’s again very soon!
