Trust hosts Christmas Celebration Party
- Community

On Monday 19th December, we were delighted to host our Community Christmas Celebration to look back on what a fantastic year it has been in 2022 for the Community Sports Trust.
Over 350 people were in attendance along with some familiar faces from both the Men’s and Women’s first teams, who were on hand for photos and to sign autographs. Attendees ranged from Soccer School attendees from the age of four, right up to our ‘Ravens Chat’ for Seniors. Partners of the Community Trust were also invited, as we showed our appreciation for those who help to make our work possible.
The evening was full of smiles and festive cheer, and even Father Christmas was on hand to spread some joy with gifts for all the children who visited our Santa’s Grotto. A face painter was also present, meaning every child could get their favourite festive pattern, as well as an arts and crafts area, where children wrote Christmas cards to the players.
The evening culminated in our raffle draw, with exclusive Bromley FC prizes to be won, which had been run throughout the night by former Bromley FC Captain, Jack Holland. Prizes ranged from Club Shop and Broomfields vouchers, to first team signed shirts and footballs. Bromley FC CEO, Mark Hammond, was on hand to host the draw with skipper Byron Webster presenting the prizes.
Head of Community, Matt Hall, said: “2022 has been a milestone year for the Trust, and we’ve achieved so much. To see such a high quantity of beneficiaries attend this event showcases the lives our work has impacted, and it was wonderful to see everyone enjoy themselves; from our youngest, to our oldest participants”.
Women and Girls’ Development Officer, Andrea Ellis, added: “It has been amazing, to both celebrate and reflect on the achievements of 2022 with our local community in this way. We are looking forward to continuing this next year and beyond, and helping to make a difference across Bromley”.
