Community Sports Trust up for Man v Fat Club Awards
- Community

The Bromley Football Club Community Sports Trust are delighted to share the news that ‘Man v Fat Bromley’ has been nominated for Man v Fat’s prestigious ‘Club of the year’ award.
The Club has been shortlisted alongside the likes of Millwall, Twickenham and Colchester for the title.
Meanwhile, coach Ali Syahoui has been nominated for Man v Fat’s ‘Coach of the year’ award.
He was delighted to have been recognised for the Community Sports Trust’s (and his own!) hard work; “Being nominated for the Man v Fat club of the year in South-East is a real testament to all the hard work and dedication each participant has put in. Even though it’s a league and it can get competitive, the lads really support each other,no matter what team they play for! There is great unity and togetherness in this group.”
“When I was offered the opportunity to be the coach for Man v Fat Bromley, I didn’t fully realise just how beneficial the scheme is to both the participants’ physical and mental health. It’s a real honour helping them improve and keeping them motivated. Seeing their reactions when they’ve reached their personal goals is priceless and brings me joy every time. I feel privileged and blessed to be nominated for the coach of the year!”
The Awards Ceremony will be hosted virtually on Saturday, 5th February.
