Highfield School enjoy Hayes Lane matchday experience

Bromley Football Club welcomed Highfield Infant and Junior Schools to Hayes Lane on Saturday for the match against Eastleigh as our ‘School of the Day’, following the Club’s visit to the school back in December.

181 pupils and parents attended the match, which started with a pre-match meet and greet with Ronin the Raven, as well as first teamer Marc-Anthony Okoye. Pupils grilled the popular Bromley centre back, asking him a range of questions about life as a professional footballer.

Pupils were then entered into a ‘lucky dip’, where the winners were chosen to be flag bearers for the afternoon (see below).

After enjoying an even first half, the pupils were invited back onto the pitch for a photo with Ronin the Raven, as well as Kyle De Silva and Jordan Higgs.

We’d like to thank Mr Ayres and all the staff from Highfield who came along, as well as the parents and children who braved the cold conditions! We look forward to our next visit to Highfield very soon.
