McMillan Coffee Morning raises over £300
- Community

Bromley Football Club held their very own McMillan Coffee Morning on Friday 24th September, raising just under £300 for McMillan Cancer Care.
The first-ever McMillan Coffee Morning happened way back in 1990. It was a rather small affair with a simple idea: guests would gather over coffee and donate the cost of their cuppa to Macmillan in the process. It was so effective, that it was held again the next year – only this time nationally. Since then, Coffee Morning has raised over £290 million for Macmillan.
Staff from across the Club, Academy and Community Sports Trust attended, with many baking some delicious treats and others bringing in shop-bought items. Every person in attendance donated whilst enjoying the food and hot beverages, bringing the total to just over £300.00.
A big thank you to Club Welfare Officer Sue Whittaker for organising the event and bringing everyone together for a great cause.
