Trust held successful Regional Under 11 National League Trust tournament

Today, Bromley Football Club Community Sports Trust held the National League Trust Under 11 Girls and Mixed Cup South East Regional tournaments with Bromley School Games.

Across the two tournaments almost 150 pupils from the South East of England took part with 6 schools participating in the girls’ tournament and 7 primary schools competing in the mixed tournament.

Playing on the stadium pitch, the day was full of goals, great football skills and lots of smiles.

The girls’ tournament was won by Allington Primary who represented Maidstone United and the mixed tournament was won by Fleetdown Primary, representing Dartford, who remained undefeated across the tournament.

All participants were joined at the medal and certificate presentations by first team assistant manager, Alan Dunne.

The winners from both tournaments will now move onto the National Finals Day, which will take place in July.

Andrea Ellis, Women and Girls’ Development Officer for Bromley FC Community Sports Trust, added: “It’s been great to welcome the schools from across the region to Hayes Lane. There has been some great football on show today and we would like to congratulate the regional winners who will now go on to represent the South East in the national finals.”
