FA Cup Auction Raises Nearly £1,300 for Community Programmes

Bromley FC fans have once again shown their incredible support, helping to raise almost £1,300 in a special FA Cup auction to benefit Bromley FC Community Trust.

The auction, which featured a signed FA Cup match ball and a signed commemorative FA Cup third shirt, captured the excitement of Bromley FC’s historic FA Cup Third Round clash against Newcastle United at St. James’ Park. Fans battled it out in a competitive bidding war, eager to own a unique piece of club history while contributing to a fantastic cause.

All proceeds from the auction will go directly to Bromley FC Community Trust, supporting vital community programmes across the borough, including mental health initiatives, disability football, youth engagement, and social inclusion projects.

Jeff Hutton, Chief Executive of Bromley FC Community Trust, expressed his gratitude: “We are thrilled by the response to the auction and want to thank every fan who placed a bid or helped spread the word. This FA Cup journey was a milestone for the club, and seeing our community come together to support the Trust in such a meaningful way is truly special. Every penny raised will make a direct impact on the work we do across Bromley.”

The auction, hosted on eBay, attracted strong engagement from supporters, with bids quickly climbing as the deadline approached. The signed match ball and shirt became highly sought-after collector’s items, reflecting the pride and passion surrounding Bromley’s incredible FA Cup run.
