March of the Day II via Bromley FC

Last weekend, we were pleased to welcome the Darby Rimmer MND Foundation to Bromley Football Club as part of their inspirational March of the Day II – a 178-mile journey from Wembley to Ipswich Town, raising awareness, funds, and hope in the fight against Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
While our role was just a small one, it was a privilege to support the walkers as they passed through Bromley, offering a moment of rest and recognition on their incredible journey.
Organised by the Darby Rimmer MND Foundation and supported by The PFA, this powerful campaign has already raised over £150,000 – with the total still rising.
Jeff Hutton, CEO of Bromley FC Community Trust, said: “It was a pleasure for us to play a small part in something so powerful at the weekend. The Foundation’s incredible efforts have already raised over £150,000.
A special thanks to our Head of Operations, Alex Koroma, for orchestrating things from our end; Gary Thompson from our Veterans Hub for getting involved and leading (literally!) from the front; and Dave Palmer at the Professional Footballers’ Association for his continued support of our work at the Trust.”
