Playing Our Part: One Club One Community

After an unforgettable weekend for everyone connected with Bromley FC, the celebrations continue both on and off the pitch.
From partnerships to supporter engagement and inspiring moments across our programmes, it has been another reminder of football’s power to bring people together across the Borough.
Here is this week’s Playing Our Part update.

The Glades Partnership Continues
Hopefully many of you will have seen that The Glades Bromley will continue their partnership with Bromley FC Community Trust as Principal Partner throughout the 2026/27 season.
Mark and the team at The Glades take real pride in the responsibility that comes with being one of the Borough’s leading organisations, and that aligns closely with us at Bromley Football Club.
We are incredibly grateful for their continued support and shared belief in the power of football to make a difference across our community.

Club Awards Evening
A huge congratulations to everyone recognised at the club’s recent Awards Evening, including two special community honours presented on the night.
Ben Thompson was named Community Player of the Season, while Idris Odutayo received the PFA Community Champion award, with both players outstanding ambassadors for the football club within our community programmes this season.
A special mention must also go to our Community Head of Operations, Alex Koroma, who continues to do a brilliant job building relationships with the men’s team and coordinating player appearances that create genuine impact across our community programmes, whilst respecting the demands of professional football and family life.
The evening itself was another brilliant reflection of the people that make Bromley Football Club so special.

Special Guests at Ravens Chat
We were delighted to welcome some special visitors to Ravens Chat last Thursday, including the Mayor of Bromley and Michael Cheek.
It was also fantastic to welcome back lifelong Bromley supporter Barrie Evans, who returned for Saturday’s big game after moving to Cornwall a few years ago. Having supported the club across an incredible 80 seasons, Barrie even brought cake along with him. Thank you, Barrie!

Partnerships With Purpose at Biggin Hill Airport
It was great to spend time last week with our Women and Girls Principal Partners, London Biggin Hill Airport.
David, Matthew, Georgina and the wider team continue to play a huge role in supporting our Women and Girls programmes, and we are incredibly grateful for their backing.
We even had the opportunity to see one of the airport’s iconic Spitfires up close, which was a fantastic experience.
Strong partnerships like this continue to help us grow opportunities across our community.

Promotion in the Women’s Team’s Hands
Following Saturday’s celebrations, it was straight down to Maidstone on Sunday to support Bromley Women in their League Cup Final against Saltdean United.
It was fantastic to see so many families and supporters backing the team. Unfortunately, it was not our day, with the match ending in a penalty shootout defeat following a goalless draw.
The attention now turns to the league, with promotion still firmly in the Women’s team’s hands. Victory away to Camden Town on Sunday 17 May would see Bromley crowned champions and secure promotion to Tier 5 of the Women’s football pyramid.
Keep an eye on the club website for full match details. It would be fantastic to see as many supporters there as possible backing the team.
Stay Connected
This is just a snapshot of the work taking place each week. If you would like to follow more of our journey, you can connect with Bromley FC Community Trust across our social channels on Instagram and Facebook including LinkedIn.
