Promotion and what it means for the Trust !

You would’ve seen the recent success of our Mens First Team gaining promotion to the EFL! With this promotion comes the unfortunate loss of our Stadium Pitch as in order to meet the league criteria, we have to install a grass pitch. (bittersweet moments!)

This is just to bring everyone up to date with the latest on what’s going on down here at Hayes Lane and ultimately what that means for the Community Trust and our provisions moving forward.

Friday Goalkeeper Training (5:30pm – 6:30pm)

  • All sessions have now ceased till further notice! Do keep an eye out on the socials for the return of these sessions. Any one who has booked on already, get in contact to discuss options via community@bromleyfc.org

Mini Ravens & Saturday Morning Soccer School (8am – 1pm)

  • With immediate effect, all sessions will now be relocating to the rear community pitches as the stadium undergoes construction. Please ensure that you are reporting to the club shop first for sign in, to receive a sticker that tells our coaches you have been signed in, before making your way up to the pitches. We need to be able to account for all our participants on site!
  • For this Saturday 11th May ONLY. We will only be running provisions up until 11AM. There will be NO Saturday Development Sessions (11am – 12pm) or Pan Disability/CASPA sessions (12pm – 1pm). It’s business as usual for all session from Saturday 18th May!
  • We cut Saturday 11th May sessions short due to our open top bus parade to the Glades in Bromley! We’d like to see as many of you there to congratulate the team and keep an eye out for some of your Community Trust coaches in and around the mix! We value your support ALWAYS. For more details click here >

Monday Midweek Sessions (5pm – 8pm)

  • Unfortunately Monday 13th and 20th May all sessions will be CANCELLED and we will not be in operation! Also, remember Monday 27th May is bank holiday so we will be off.
  • From Monday 3rd June May we resume to business as usual however as you have probably guessed, the venue changes over to our rear community pitches rather than the stadium. As mentioned with Saturdays, please report to the club shop first for sign-in before heading to the pitches!

Saturday 11th May (from 11am onwards)

  • 11am: The bus arrives at Hayes Lane
  • 11:50am: The bus departs from Hayes Lane to make way to the Town Centre.
  • 12pm: The bus arrives outside The Glades in the Town Centre
  • We’ll be based in the Glades till 1:30pm! Be sure to get down and see the team, celebrate our success.

If you aren’t able to get down to the parade then no worries! We will surely be bringing our beloved trophy down to sessions at a later date. Be sure to watch out for communications relating to this !

Any questions at all be sure to drop us an email and we’ll sort out the relevant.

Kind regards,

Alex Koroma
