- News

Bromley FC Community Trust is delighted to announce the appointment of Graham Orr as Chair of Trustees, alongside key trustee leadership roles, reinforcing the Trust’s commitment to strategic governance and community impact.
The appointments were confirmed at the recent Board of Trustees meeting in February, where trustees also discussed future ambitions for the Trust, governance frameworks, and operational priorities.
Graham Orr Appointed Chair of Trustees
Graham brings a diverse and impressive background to the role, combining a decade of service in the Royal Navy with a distinguished career in the Managed Print Industry, where he held senior management and consultancy roles and successfully ran his own businesses.
In his semi-retirement, Graham has dedicated his time to volunteering, particularly within the veteran community. He played a pivotal role in establishing and managing the Bromley FC Community Veterans’ Hub, where his leadership has made a significant impact. His appointment as Chair of Trustees marks an exciting step forward for the Trust as it continues to grow and enhance its community programmes.
Strengthening Trustee Leadership
In addition to Graham’s appointment as Chair, the Trust has confirmed key lead roles within the board of trustees to provide strong oversight in critical areas. Steve Taylor, Managing Partner at Bromley-based law firm Judge & Priestley, has been appointed Legal Lead. With extensive experience in legal practice, governance, and business management, Steve has played a major role in his firm’s strategic growth. A proud supporter of Bromley FC for over 20 years, his expertise will help ensure the Trust maintains best practices in compliance and governance.
Louise Stephens has been appointed as Communications Lead, bringing a strong background in PR, marketing, and communications across sectors including sport, charity, and education. Previously Head of PR, Communications & Marketing at Leyton Orient Trust, she successfully developed and executed engagement strategies to enhance the charity’s profile. A Bromley FC supporter, Louise will support the Trust’s marketing and communications strategy, helping to raise awareness of its work and impact.
Meanwhile, Matt Hall has been appointed Safeguarding Lead, taking on responsibility for ensuring the Trust continues to uphold the highest safeguarding standards. Matt has a strong background in community development, having been the Community Manager and Head of Community at Hayes Lane across a six year period, playing a pivotal role in the formation and running of the trust in its early days. His oversight will be key in maintaining a safe and inclusive environment across all of the Trust’s programmes.
