What is your role at Bromley FC?
I have been a player at Bromley fc for 5 years starting in the youth sides and now currently in the Women’s First team and the Bromley Academy. How long have you been involved in football?
I have been involved in football for 7 years. I have been a player and spectator. It first started at another local club, Club Langley. My involvement has changed within the sport as a player, coach and working within the sporting environment.
What has been your experience of being involved or working in football?
I have been fortunate to be involved in the growth of women’s football and look forward to the further progression. The gap between men’s and women’s football is still far too big and hope the victory for the Lionesses in the Euros will help close that.
What have you enjoyed most about being involved with football?
The best part of working in football is seeing the vast number of new young girls wanting to play football and the talent there is in our local area. This shows the journey women’s football has already gone through so far. The best part about playing is the enjoyment and the experience it brings.
What advice would you give someone wanting to work or get involved in football?
My advice to anyone of any age is start now and get involved with football while it grows and becomes more popular and to be able to enjoy it.
