What is your role at Bromley FC?
I am the secretary for the Bromley Belles, I have done this for the last 4 years.
How long have you been involved in football?
I have been playing in the Bromley Belles since it launched 5 years ago.
I played a little at university over 20 years ago but I’ve had little opportunity to play otherwise.
The Belles has changed and grown a lot since we started out but we have always retained the aim to bring fun and relaxed football to the lost generation.
What has been your experience of being involved or working in football?
I have made a great group of friends and it helps me stay fit in my busy life.
What have you enjoyed most about being involved with football?
The tournaments, it’s a chance for teams from all over the area to meet up and play recreational football against each other. It’s not something I ever thought I’d be able to do.
What advice would you give someone wanting to work or get involved in football?
Go for it, it might be scary to get going but it’s the best thing I’ve done and everyone was in the same position as you at some point.
