Inaugural Bromley FC Youth Grassroots Football Festival Raises Vital Funds for Community Trust

More than 1,500 young players from across South East London and Kent came together for the inaugural Bromley FC Youth Grassroots Football Festival, proudly supported by Copia Metal & Waste Recycling, raising vital funds to support the ongoing work of Bromley FC Community Trust.

Held for the first time at Hayes Lane, the festival welcomed over 120 teams for a weekend celebrating grassroots football, sportsmanship and community spirit. Young players enjoyed the opportunity to compete, develop their skills and create lasting memories, while parents, coaches and supporters created a fantastic atmosphere throughout the event.

As Official Festival Partner, Copia Metal & Waste Recycling played a key role in bringing the festival to life. Their generous support helped Bromley FC Community Trust deliver an unforgettable inaugural event while raising valuable funds that will enable the Trust to continue creating opportunities and delivering life-changing programmes across the local community.

The weekend also showcased the power of football to bring people together, with volunteers, Community Trust staff and match officials working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure every team enjoyed a positive and memorable experience.

Jeff Hutton, Chief Executive Officer of Bromley FC Community Trust, said:

“What made the weekend truly special was seeing our incredible volunteers, Bromley FC Community Trust team and match officials come together to deliver an event we can all be proud of. Their energy, commitment and passion were there for everyone to see, and the festival simply wouldn’t have happened without them.”

Bromley FC Community Trust would like to extend its sincere thanks to Copia Metal & Waste Recycling for their outstanding support as Official Festival Partner. Their commitment to grassroots football and the local community was instrumental in making the inaugural festival possible and demonstrates the positive impact that strong community partnerships can have.

The Trust would also like to thank every team, player, coach, parent, volunteer, match official and supporter who played their part throughout the weekend. Their enthusiasm and support helped create an event that reflected the very best of grassroots football while raising vital funds that will support the Trust’s work across the borough.

Following the success of its inaugural year, the Bromley FC Youth Grassroots Football Festival has laid the foundations for what promises to become a flagship annual event, bringing clubs, families and communities together while supporting the continued growth of grassroots football and helping Bromley FC Community Trust continue its work throughout the local community.
